who am I
I was born in Badgastein / Salzburg in 1960 and completed my compulsory schooling there. My professional future also began in the Gastein Valley.
In the meantime, I have been living and working in southern Lower Austria for more than thirty years.
Having always worked in a medical profession, the term “lateral entrant” in the field of fine arts completely applies to me.
However, having worked directly with and on people for over four decades, I was able to valuable expand on the impressions I had experienced and collected privately over time, of a wide variety of personalities.
Inspired by this, the wesensARTen were created and are created
Imagination, creativity, good powers of observation and attention to detail allow essential art to take shape in my work.
The nature
is probably the most personal part of every person
Inherent and indispensable in everyone and yet intangible.
It is the inner drive, the true spirit of a personality.
Not visible to the eye. Felt with the heart.
Often, certain types of character have come to terms with everyday life behind a constructed facade of learned and inherited rules and are therefore not immediately recognizable to everyone.
When depicting the characters, I deliberately omitted the facial expressions - the facade.
Body language counts.

The
unruly spirit
The rebellious spirit symbolizes this very human nature.
The unmistakable body language leaves little doubt that it reflects disobedience, rebelliousness, uncompromisingness and stubbornness.
The humble spirit
This is the humble spirit, meaning the humble attitude of mind.
With your head slightly bowed, listening more easily to your inner voice, humbly and firmly trusting that you will be accompanied, protected and advised by a higher power in all situations that life has to offer.
The helpful spirit
This is the helpful spirit, here also the
Attitude of mind, nature.
Without any ifs or buts he runs with a quick step
to help or to give - depending on...
For the light on the horizon that is missing in difficult times, he has

The good-natured spirit has an open ear for everyone and every problem.
Constantly neglecting his own interests, he puts his reassuring promise: “I’ll do it” into action with courageous commitment.
At the same time, he also removes the stones that are obstacles on the way to the goal and make it difficult to progress...
Even though he is often on the verge of exhaustion, he is unable to say no to any request made to him.
Unfortunately, this good-natured nature is often exploited.
The well-read mind
He is fascinated by discovering the old and new knowledge collected in the form of letters, numbers and symbols and preserved between an almost infinite number of pages.

This is Dolcetto, from the family of “serving spirits”.
Here, too, the attitude of mind is meant.

Together they tell exciting, funny or fantasy stories.

Flaschengeist
Once the bottle is opened and the spirit is freed, he must, in gratitude, serve his master and fulfill his wishes.
This is what is written in fairy tales and legends.
But be careful! Not every bottle contains a noble spirit. Some people like to deceive you.
They also fulfill wishes, such as forgetting anger and sadness, and are praised for doing so. But the effect is not permanent.
It only gets worse every time.
Often it is too late before we ask ourselves the question: “Who is the master and who is his servant?”
The melancholy spirit
Only very rarely does his gaze reach the horizon to see in the rising sun an opportunity for courage and a new beginning.
The self-imposed pain of the world weighs far too heavily on his shoulders.
Every attempt to escape from it fails because of the feeling of just standing still.
The romantic spirit
A compassionate, tender and dreamy nature.
His nature is such that he finds something special in everyday things with an imaginative eye. Candlelight, a delicate scent, quiet sounds and well-chosen words are enough ingredients to create magical moments.
The romantic spirit moves in its own universe, which is not easily accessible to other people. Its home planet is a pink cloud. There it can indulge in its dreams and imagination, create places of longing and playfully recognize mythical creatures in the shapes of clouds.
His view of reality, heavily filtered through his rose-colored glasses, is sometimes perceived as imaginative and distorted.
